How To Get Started
The first step is to connect.
You can email me and let me know your online needs or book your free 30-minute zoom meeting.
Then we chat to see if we are both happy to work together to build your website.
The next step is to develop the design.
We will discuss what content you need on your website and look at how you want your business represented.
Then I begin to build your site.
The final step is reviewing, tweaking, editing and making your website mobile responsive.
Once we are happy with the final result, I hand over the "keys" to your new online home.
Then you celebrate with a drink.
Hosting and Management
AMJ offers a range of hosting packages for small startup businesses and eCommerce businesses.
AMJ can teach you how to manage your website, or you can use the Website Management service.

It is always best if you have some ideas and have put some thought into what content you would like included. The more details you provide and the input you have will contribute to building a website that meets your needs.
The two main things you need to consider are:
Wording - This is all the word content on your website. Who you are, what the products and services you offer are etc. You can write the content yourself or outsource it to a copywriter. If you need a copywriter and not sure where to start, I can help you with some ideas.
Images - You will need images on your site. I can source stock images for you, or you may have professional or good quality photos that you would like to provide. Images speak a thousand words, so they need to reflect your message, product or service.
There are other things to consider, but we will sit down together, either in person or virtually, to discuss these before I start building your site.
Yes, there are ongoing costs of owning a website.
You will need to purchase a domain name and pay for a hosting service for your website. Security and backup options are important for your website and are included in my hosting service.
The setup and ongoing costs are $300 or $600 per year. There may be added costs depending on any specialty plugins or software requirements your website may need.
This support is for websites I build. I offer this support for 1-3 months just in case there are any issues or problems that need to be ironed out after the build is complete.
I like to offer this support as sometimes it takes a while for clients to navigate through their completed website and discover things that are just not quite right.
Optimisation for all devices ensures that your website looks great and works on desktops, laptops, tablets and phones.
This means that when your customers visit your website, they will be able to view and access all pages and functions no matter what device they are using.
I have set up the option of a free 30 minute Zoom call so we can get to know each other and to see if we are a good fit to work together.
It gives me the opportunity to learn what you are hoping for from your website and you can ask me any questions you may have.
After this meeting we decide if we are happy to work together and then proceed with the process of setting up the working contract for me to build your website.
Once a working contract between us has been signed, a payment of 50% needs to be paid before I start building your site.
The final 50% is payable on completion and handover of your website to you.
Yes, you can.
Any physical or digital products can be put up for sale on your website. I use WooCommerce, a professional ecommerce solution for WordPress and it integrates really well with the themes I use.
There are also options for booking appointments for services you provide. We can discuss the best options for you in regards to plugins or platforms that will work best for you.
WordPress is the platform your website is built on. A theme is what is used to create and build your website.
WordPress is one of the most popular and reliable platforms on which you can create many different types of websites for any type of business.
The themes I use have been proven over time to provide flexibility and adaptability so I can create beautiful websites. I have been using these themes since 2014.
